Ford government announces province’s first known case of the South African coronavirus variant in Mississauga and officials say there is no known link to travel.
Toronto Public Health officials say a case of the COVID-19 variant, which is believed to be more transmissible than other strains, has been reported in the city. It marks the first known case of the strain in Ontario.
