The province announces 1,062 cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 300,816.
Ontario reports 17 more COVID-19-related deaths, pushing the provincial total past the 7,000 milestone to 7,014. The government says it is aiming to have all eligible residents who wish to get a vaccine to have their first dose completed by June 20, the first day of summer.
