A COVID-19 outbreak at a Kingston construction site spreads to a total of 61 people. The local health unit says 39 workers caught the virus directly from the site outbreak as 22 of their close contacts also tested positive.

Ontario government announces COVID-19 vaccine eligibility will soon be expanded to people with at-risk health conditions, people who cannot work from home (Group 2) and people aged 40 and older in non-hot spot communities. The province also announces certain high-risk health care workers will be allowed to get a second dose earlier than the expected fourth-month interval.
