Ontario’s state of emergency has been extended by 28 days by Premier Ford. He hopes that the provinces reopening will not be put on hold during this time. Beginning June 18, Ontario announces a restart plan to allow visitors into long-term care homes.

Several regions are cleared to enter Stage 2 of the recovery plan but Toronto, Peel and Windsor remain in Phase 1 due to being COVID-19 hotspots.

By June 30th, the provincial total has risen to 35,068 cases with 157 new cases.
