Education Minister Stephen Lecce announces that public schools across Ontario will be closed until at least May 31. Ford followed this up by providing the plan for how he plans to reopen in province but omitted giving a set date.
Ontario reports 525 new cases bringing the total up to 15,381 cases. AT this point a total of 8,964 have recovered from COVID-19. The government announces strict guidelines for seasonal businesses (construction, nurseries, etc) to follow to be open by May 4.
